KITCHEN AND BATHROOM REMODELING IN UTAH COUNTY PLANNED AROUND YOUR HOME
Utah County has two very different kinds of homes, and each one calls for a different remodel. Older houses in Provo and Orem often have original layouts, small bathrooms, and kitchens closed off from the rest of the house, while newer builds in Lehi and American Fork tend to come with builder-grade finishes that homeowners are ready to replace. For a bathroom remodel in Utah County, we start with what bothers you about the room, then plan the layout, tile, and fixtures around it, like the marble-look tile and navy vanity in the project above. A kitchen remodel in Utah County starts the same way.
We look at how you move and cook in the space before choosing finishes, then settle the cabinet wood, counters, and backsplash together, as with the butcher block counters, farmhouse sink, and green cabinets shown here. If you want to start thinking about materials before your estimate, our Tile Options and Wood Options pages are a good place to look. We handle premium home renovation in Utah County from Provo to Lehi, and we tell you what we find behind the walls as we find it, so the final walkthrough is never where you learn about a problem.

Frequently Asked Questions
Cabinets and countertops usually take the biggest share of a kitchen budget, followed by appliances, flooring, and labor. The price climbs with custom or solid wood cabinets, stone counters, and layout changes that move plumbing, gas, or walls. A refresh that keeps the layout and swaps finishes costs far less than a full gut. The most accurate number comes from a free estimate once we’ve seen the kitchen. If cabinets are your biggest question, our Wood Options page is a good place to start.
Most kitchen remodels run four to eight weeks, and a full gut with custom cabinets can stretch toward twelve. You can usually stay in the house, but you’ll be without a working kitchen for part of that time, so set up a temporary spot elsewhere with a microwave, a small fridge, and a sink. Demolition and the first days of installation are the loudest and dustiest stretch, so if you work from home, plan to be somewhere else for those days.
It depends on the work. Orem’s building office says a permit is required when you move power, plumbing, walls, or heating and cooling, and not when you’re painting or replacing cabinets and countertops. Provo and Lehi follow similar rules under the Utah building code, which also calls for permits when you add a bathroom or take out a wall. Permit review usually takes one to three weeks depending on the city and the job, and we build that into your schedule.
It can. Once walls and floors open up, older homes sometimes reveal outdated wiring, plumbing that needs replacing, water damage, or materials like lead paint or asbestos that have to be handled properly. We recommend keeping a cushion in the budget for this, and we tell you what we find as we find it and talk through options before anything changes.
Yes. We work throughout Utah County, including Provo, Orem, Lehi, American Fork, Lindon, Pleasant Grove, Spanish Fork, Springville, Saratoga Springs, and Eagle Mountain. If your city isn’t listed, call or request an estimate and we’ll confirm.
